Synopsis
Abdullah, a part time student and full time security guard, is implicated in a drug sting by his cousin Latif. Now, at the mercy of the court, his freedom and immigration status in Canada are in jeopardy.
Directed by
Sammy Mohamed, a Somali-Canadian writer/director from Ottawa, channels his family’s artistic legacy into compelling cinema. A graduate of Algonquin College’s Scriptwriting Program, he has penned a feature and several short films, directing two to date. His work reflects his unique perspective and passion for storytelling.
