Synopsis

NOLA is working as a sous chef managing the pressures of working in a dysfunctional restaurant, while also trying to keep her stress and anxiety at bay. After she has a chance encounter with someone from her past, she is forced to decide how much power her anxiety truly reigns over her.

Directed by

Aisha is a Canadian actress and filmmaker of Caribbean descent. She debuted on Syfy’s 12 Monkeys and has appeared in various network and indie productions. Her short film ShoeGazer—which she wrote, co-produced, and starred in—screened at top festivals and earned her a 2019 Black Canadian Filmmaker of the Year nomination from ByBlacks.com.

Natalie Novak Remplakowski is a Polish-Canadian director, screenwriter, and producer based in Toronto and New York City. With over a decade of experience, she has worked across scripted live-action and narrative nonfiction, creating compelling content for theatrical, television, and digital platforms.
