Instructor

Yan is a Canadian actor, basketball official, and event host. Encouraged by friends in the industry, he transitioned into acting, landing roles in Pluto Nash, The Other Woman, Burn Up, and High Noon. A member of ACTRA and SAG, he works in both Canada and the U.S.

A former basketball player at Dawson College, his career was cut short by injury, leading him to officiating, mentored by renowned referee John Weiland. He also supports aspiring athletes through Richard Avery’s Pro Sports Group.

Fluent in French and English, Yan is active in film, sports, and event hosting across Montreal, Calgary, and Vancouver.
