Jinesea is an improv teacher, comedian, and actor with nearly a decade of experience in improv, stand-up, and sketch comedy. A former Second City Mainstage performer, she has appeared in 15 films—often as the Black best friend in Hallmark movies—leading to her acclaimed one-woman show, Diary of a Black Hallmark Best Friend.
She’s performed at Ottawa Fringe, been nominated for a Rideau Award for Outstanding Actress, and been featured on the Oprah Winfrey Network and Amazon Prime Video’s NAACP Image Award-nominated drama Cross.
