These are the days before Carnival in Mindelo (CAPE VERDE). By depicting the trajectory of some apparently ordinary people, while getting ready for the big party, the film draws a passionate portrait of the people of São Vicente Island. Their personal stories are permeated by the historical and cultural context of the country, culminating in the cathartic carnival parade.
