Synopsis

Teah: follows the emotional reunion of Teah, a successful Black woman in her 20s, and Damien, a charming Hispanic chef, as they meet at a familiar Latin restaurant after years apart. As the two reminisce about their past relationship, a playful conversation turns into a deeper exploration of their differing life choices.

Directed by

Taf Diallo is a Guinean-Canadian screenwriter specializing in character-driven dramas with socio-political themes. A former finance professional with a political science background from Western University, he has worked on The Porter (CBC, BET+) and Hudson & Rex (Citytv). An alumnus of the Canadian Film Centre, he was a 2022 Netflix Diversity of Voices fellow. His storytelling aims to amplify marginalized voices and drive social change.
